Finance
Qualification:
Degree with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate for Open and OBC candidates and 55% in the case of SC/ST and PWD candidates from a recognized University and pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Information Technology
Qualification:
Degree in Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Masters Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/ Information Technology with 65 % marks in aggregate for Open and OBC candidates and 55% in the case of SC/ST and PWD candidates from a recognized university.
Age Limit :27 years as on 31 July 2012
Method of Selection:
For all posts the selection process will be held at Kochi. The method of selection will include a Written test, Group discussion and Personal Interview. The written test is tentatively scheduled on 08th / 09th Sep 2012 at Kochi. Eligible candidates will have to appear for the written test and those who qualify in the written test and within the zone of consideration as per the ratio prescribed will be shortlisted for group discussion and personal interview. The written test shall be of ninety minutes duration comprising of 100 multiple choice questions in the areas of General Awareness, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and Technical Aptitude.
Application Fee:
Application fee of Rs. 300/-(Non refundable) for all posts. Fee should be remitted in the form of a crossed DD drawn in favor of COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED on any Nationalised bank payable at Kochi. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

ii) The website will remain functional for the purpose from 30 July 2012 to 24 August 2012 or upto 10 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News.
iii) Candidates are allowed to apply for only one discipline for which he/she is eligible and application so submitted cannot be altered.
iv) Instructions for filling up of application format to be read before logging on to the website.
v) Before starting to fill the online application candidates should keep the application fee remittance details/ DD Number ready.
vi) After applying through online, candidate is required to take a print out of the application form with unique registration number generated by the system and affix a recent passport size photograph and forward the application duly signed along with the Demand Draft (in original) to The Deputy General Manager (HR), Cochin Shipyard Ltd, P O Bag No. 1653, Perumanoor P O, Kochi-682015 so as to reach latest by 30 Aug 2012.
